Alan K. Henderson’s two-line Springtime for Brezhnev post is premature: the Soviet-German-Hungarian-Polish-Bulgarian invasion into Czechoslovakia started on August 21, not July 21, 1968.
Yet the title of his note reminds me of The Producers, which I recall seeing on Soviet TV days before the Communist putsch of August 19-21, 1991.
