Khash and hash browns

McDonald’s is advertising a new MacBreakfast: potato hash browns and coffee. The Russian rendering is, as far as I remember, “kartofel’ny khash-braun.” Hurry, they say, breakfast is only available till 10 AM. What’s curious about “khash-braun” is that khash is a thick Armenian meat soup that is reputedly an excellent remedy against hangover. It is therefore an appropriate breakfast for post-inebriation sydrome sufferers, and is sure to beat the “khash-braunz” at McD!
