Comments on the Yukos ruling by Hague district court

Not much commentary on the latest Yukos judgment. Keith Johnson writes: “The district court ruling is a small setback, not a defeat, for Yukos shareholders” in Foreign Policy. I’d like to think so but I’m not sure.

Opinio Juris, a blog on international law by a group of scholars mostly from US law schools, has an entry by Julian Ku and a link to an English translation in the comments section.

I have seen a few comments by Russian lawyers with some international experience on Russophone news sites. They seem to be saying that the ruling was unusual and unexpected, but I’m not sure what conclusions can be drawn from this.
