Here be monsters

This picture was taken in Moscow in the early 2010s. I hope they have painted over this graffiti: every time I look at it, it scares the bejeezus out of me. On the other hand, I won’t be surprised if this friendly creep has survived to this day.

A neiborhood in the southwest of Moscow

It’s the good stuff that gets erased, like the mural artwork discussed in this post. It’s gone, replaced with solid blue-green, on the orders of some great urban improver. There’s still plenty of decent-looking graffiti around town, including old-fashioned images like these.
