Google Photos keeps reminding me of times when travel was still possible and I was younger. Nine years ago, I wasn’t using geotagging – although I could and should have turned it on – so I’m not even sure where the picture on the left below was taken.
It must have been Copenhagen or Helsinki, the former the more likely. The one to the right comes from somewhere on the road from Chambéry to Moûtiers or perhaps further down the way, closer to Les Menuires. It was a particularly snowy winter in those parts.
