What makes me pinch myself

There is something surreal about the second photograph of these three. This is clearly Moscow — in fact, as the comments make clear, the building on the right is “Vysotsky’s House” — and the neo- (or pseudo-?) Gothic shape over there looms like a mirage, an atmosperic capriccio.
